Human Target Alert – Schedule Change For ”Kill Bob”- Comic Book Movie
The Fox Network has now delayed “Kill Bob,” the next new episode of Human Target. Its now going to be shown on Monday, January 31st, instead of its original date and slot which was on Wednesday, January 26th.
Reported on the Futon Critic website (via Target419.com), the reason is because Fox has expanded their hit music/reality showAmerican Idol that airs on the 26th to two full hours.
At present, the two final episodes of the second season of Human Target are scheduled for Wednesday, February 2nd & February 9th in the normal timeslot, though that could change at any time.

Ratings: ‘Human Target’ shot down, ‘CSI: NY’ tops – EW
Don’t panic, Human Target fans. Just because Fox moved a couple episodes to Friday, doesn’t mean the adventure series is permanently going into the network’s so-called Death Slot.
The episodes were originally planned for Wednesday, but were preempted by the president’s speech, so Fox aired them last night. Still, the results are interesting, especially since Target made our list of endangered shows.
Target dropped 24% at 8 p.m. compared to its most recent Wednesday performance, and then down a little further for a second episode at 9 p.m. (despite the episode being titled “Cool Hand Guerrero”). Across two hours, Target averaged 4.7 million viewers and a 1.2 preliminary adults 18-49 rating. Each rating point equals 1.3 million viewers.
The thing is, for Fox on a Friday, these numbers aren’t that bad.

The ‘Human Target’ Scheduling Carousel Continues – StarPulse
As if Human Target fans didn’t have enough with the show’s pre-second season schedule version of Musical Chairs, the show is once again getting bounced around the FOX calendar.
Last night’s two-hour event (“Imbroglio/Cool Hand Guerrero”), which was preempted for coverage of the Presidential speech regarding the tragedy in Arizona, will now air tomorrow (Friday, Jan. 14) from 8-1o PM ET/PT.
After that, Target gets the shaft in favor of American Idol: to expand the singing contest’s showing on Jan. 26, the network will preempt Target’s next new episode, “Kill Bob.” That episode then moves to Monday, Jan. 31 at 8 PM ET/PT, in itself preempting House.

Fox to axe ‘Human Target’ – International Business Times
Human Target seems to be facing the axe even as Fox aired an original episode of the show on Wednesday.
Even though the rerun episode upped the ratings by 21 per cent, it may be too late to save the show due to its consistently poor performance during the recent season. With many series up for renewal in 2011, some are bound to face the axe.
Fox has already cancelled Running Wilde, The Lone Star and the Good Guys – all with an average viewership of 0.6 to 1.6 in the 18 to 49 demographics. The viewership for the shows was around 3.5 million. ( All figures provided by Nielson Company via Media Week)
Human Target recorded a viewership of around 6 million but its target demographics of 18 to 49 – that the advertisers were aiming for with the show – could garner only 1.6 points. Generally, if a show fails to score a minimum of 2 points, then it is taken off air.
