FOX has released an official announcement today detailing its 2010-2011 mid-season schedule, including information on Human Target:

“After a run of six all-new episodes in a row this fall, Human Target springs into action with special two-hour episodes airing Wednesday, Jan. 5 and 12 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT). The action-packed drama charges into its time period premiere Wednesday, Jan. 26 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) following AMERICAN IDOL (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) for three weeks.”

The scheduling breakdown appears to be as follows:

On Monday May 18th, 2009 FOX held their Upfronts Programming Presentation for the 2009-2010 season.

The new event drama “Human Target” was included in this presentation. The series will premiere with a special preview on Sunday January 17, 2010 at 8:00-9:00PM ET following the NFC Divisional Playoff game. Episodes of the series will then be broadcast each Wednesday at 9:00PM after American Idol.
